I think the idea was ahead of its time. With such a following, I'm not sure why The Ticket doesn't try to do more with their website. Seems like a perfect opportunity to extend the brand. We just launched our attempt to do the above. Here's hoping we survive a bit longer and help to fill in some of the gaps that you and The Ticket themselves have left.
